Spiritual Piracy

Dictionary.com describes Piracy as an act of robbery or criminal violence by ship or boat-borne attackers upon another ship with the goal of stealing cargo or other valuable goods.

The Bible describes spiritual Piracy as taking without authority. James Chapter 4:2 says, ” You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.

Upon your waking in the morning, ask yourself, “am I a Pirate of destruction”? Does the disregard for peace, diversity, world hunger, division, hatred, selfishness, or other failing love matter to me?

Spiritual Piracy is the blatant disregard for human life. It stares opportunity to be kind in the face and turns the other way. It takes what isn’t yours and gives to others the rage that should be held back. The dedication of emotional unrest has become the spiritual Piracy that has caused humans to echo the emptiness of their frustrated souls.

Jesus Christ is the deal-breaker, the deliverer and lifter of your head! The simple request to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior is the beginning of putting to rest the spiritual Piracy that has haunted unsuspecting souls for a lifetime.

Romans: 10:9-10
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Success begins with acknowledgment and then capitalizing on opportunity. Don’t be left without the true mantle of fortitude; it’s the choice you won’t regret.
