Kindness defines kindness as – The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. That’s relatively simple, and combined with sincerity for oneself and others, kindness is the glue that binds friendships and embraces strangers.

Hatred has found itself in the hearts of humanity in many different ways. Ways that will shock the average person, and unfortunately, God will judge the hearts of those who foster and garner resentment and disdain for their fellow brother or sister, especially without a cause.

On the other hand, kindness has a way of embarrassing its enemy (hatred), and with a few simple commitments, the world can at the least co-exist respectably and productively. We aren’t talking rainbows, bubbles, and roasting marshmallows, but simple Biblical principles that can change the course of one’s life, how we view others, and the world itself.

Proverbs 14: 34 “righteousness exalts a nation, but sin (hatred, prejudice, resentment) is a reproach to any people.

The problem with kindness is that it has become a lost art, and more and more hides and is rapidly becoming an anomaly. Why? Because of the simple variable of “generosity” that God has given to us, we, in turn, hold back from others.

Fundamental and random acts of kindness such as holding open a door, saying good morning, saying thank you, or a nod or smile is becoming a thing of the past.

Kindness is free and effortless. Even though we are all different in one way or another, with complex ideologies and cultures, “Kindness” is a universal virtue that can ultimately re-set the world’s course to a valuable and productive place to live.

Proverbs 21:21 Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.

A significant fact regarding kindness is to understand that God, the creator of all, loves us unconditionally, and his view of humanity is quite different from how we see others. God values people, and therefore we must also respect each other. That doesn’t mean you will have dinner, a backyard BBQ, or even become friends. Still, it does tell that there is an act of kindness that each of us hold, and to be a part of remolding the culture of hatred (do it for your children and grandchildren), we must dispose of the brutal secret thoughts of anger, bitterness, rage, and ignorance. It begins and ends with embracing spiritual principles and repenting for our role in what the world has become.

Matthew 12:37 For by your words, you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned.

Remember, it’s your legacy, choice, and decision, and whether you address it now or later, everyone will ultimately give account to the highest God for their role in the condition of their heart and what comes out of their mouths.

The world will never be perfect, and there are some matters that will exist forever. However, hatred is the blind guiding of those who choose to embrace it, and it is note worthy that for each one of us who believes, their kindness can play a role in reshaping the world, and that’s another vote that can sway the grasp that the devil has on the world today.
