What’s really inside a “New Year”?

Think about the “New Year” as another opportunity of grace and favor from God! Reflections don’t always give you a warm and fuzzy feeling, but at the very least it proves that God has given you another opportunity to do it again, and the wisdom to do it better. In retrospect, living your best life is always living with intentions of expanding your horizon, embracing your visions, and taking a step forward every single day. As long as you understand the value of life, then you get to enjoy the benefits of using the past to propel you into a future filled with hope, peace, love, vision, fellowship, and the fulfillment of your God-given purpose.

Ephesians 5:16 says– Making the best use of the time because the days are evil. That doesn’t mean you worry about the evil that is lurking in the world but understanding the importance of being aware of the danger, while enjoying the covenant of the protection of God, through the promises of scripture.

God made mankind in His image, and after His likeness. He also gave us dominion over the earth, which gives us the advantage and access to the Master architect (GOD) whose guidance is perfectly orchestrated to ensure you get the best possible outcome, so not to fear. (Genesis 1:26)

So how do you get from not knowing or understanding your purpose, to making an impact on the world, and taking advantage of every new year? It begins with salvation through Christ, and it starts with accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, inviting him into your heart, making a commitment to fellowshipping with a local church, and to study the word of God every day. It’s not as difficult as you might think, and it adds years of joy, peace, love, health, wisdom, and blessings to your life; with a bonus of eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10 – If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart you believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Ephesians 4:24 – And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Psalm 37:23 – The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way.

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Luke 1:37– For nothing will be impossible with God

Don’t allow another day to expire without you joining your faith with Christ Jesus, and watch him redeem the time, and empower you through faith, and obedience to scripture. Communing with Christ minimizes your troubles and teaches you how to live your best life even with the challenges that we face every day; Without giving up or being swallowed up by the cares of this life.

Happy 2021!
